Representative Doreen Carter challenges the community to GO MEATLESS

A plant-based lifestyle has become more prevalent amid meat shortage concerns and susceptibility to COVID-19 with pre-existing conditions. To help you “boost your immune system” and “Keep District 92 Strong,” Representative Doreen Carter is challenging the community to a Meatless May Challenge, beginning on Friday, May 1, 2020. The Vegeculture Meatless May Challenge provides an excellent platform to cutback on meat and jump-start a plant-based lifestyle with your colleagues, friends, family, and peers. It doesn’t matter if you’re prepared to commit to going 100% vegan or vegetarian or if you would only like to commit to going meatless during your lunch or dinner, this challenge is for you.

In view of the fact that we understand the most challenging parts of eating healthy are 1. developing the habits of eating healthy and 2. adding healthy recipes to your repertoire, your friends at Vegeculture Culture will be serving up simple recipes during our Meatless May Challenge.

To participate in the Meatless May Challenge this May all you have to do is commit one of the following options then RSVP or complete the contact form below to signup for simple recipes:

  1. GO 100% VEGAN FOR 21 DAYS
  2. GO 100% VEGETARIAN FOR 21 DAYS
  3. GO MEATLESS DURING LUNCH OR DINNER FOR 21 DAYS

To share your 21-Day Meatless Journey and propel The Vegeculture amongst your peers, you may embed the following hashtags into social media posts that highlight your plant-based meals:

  1. #21DayVeggieChallenge
  2. #Vegeculture
